Hello!

I'm Cheryl, a yoga teacher, a trauma-sensitive yoga facilitator ( TCTSY-F ) and a dance & movement meditation facilitator. My purpose is to guide individuals reconnecting with their heart, body, mind, and the present moment through the practices of movement and mindfulness.

Yoga became my refuge when I experienced scoliosis-related back pain and fatigue. During one of my early yoga classes, a simple gesture of looking at my hand while holding a pose brought forth a sense of presence, focus, and calmness that was rare and unfamiliar to me.

I became more attuned to bodily sensations and my state of mind with each class. I noticed progress in strength, flexibility and understanding of myself. Yoga taught me the power of breath, stillness and movement, supported by modern days research on their benefits for well-being and health.

As I continue to learn and inspired by many great teachers, and my students, I just would like to share yoga and mindfulness to more of you. I hope to meet many of you on this journey!

Some of the trainings that I have taken :

  • 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training

  • 300-hour Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive-Yoga (TCTSY) Facilitator Training Program

  • Stick Mobility Level 1

  • DANCEmandala Dance Meditation Facilitator Training (Foundation)

  • Professional Diploma of General Counselling ( School of Continuing and Professional Studies, CUHK )

  • Mental Health First Aid Certified

  • Mental Health Support Hotline Volunteer Training,  JUSTONE 24-Hour Community Mental Health Support Project, Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong

I believe the way to create a better world is to start from within, by taking care of one’s mind, body and heart.

Let's get in touch!
