Wellness is not limited to a particular body type or capability, everyone has the rights to be well and healthy
Yoga and mindfulness should be vehicles that serve our individual needs and aspirations, rather than trying to mould ourselves to fit predetermined notions of what they represent
Focusing on individuals experience that comes from within, rather than striving for perfect poses
Embracing an accepting and open-minded approach, free from criticism or comparison
Learn to take care of self and listen to self first, allow yourself to look and be different
Shanti originates from the Sanskrit word "shama," meaning peace, tranquility, and calmness...
It is often chanted three times at the beginning and at the end of a yoga class to promote inner peace. The three shantis represent the wish for peace in body, mind and spirit, and for yourself, others and all living beings. Our intention is to extend these peaceful wishes to the world every time we speak the word.
Our logo features a wreath adorned with pearls, representing the philosophy called the String of Pearls created by Dr. Phil Stutz. Each pearl symbolizing an imperfect action and is of equal value. Regardless of the size of the action or the outcome, what truly matters is the commitment to continue and keep putting the next pearl on the string.
We draw inspiration from this philosophy, and our logo serves as a constant reminder to celebrate the ongoing progress and place emphasis on the journey over the destination.
